Description
Haven't you ever seen a spider reading a book before?
This is Anya, a spider girl. She used to live in a colony with other Spider folk until one day the wind carried her web to a human city. She wandered around often, but lately she has been living in a very large house. She is incredibly drawn to this house because it has an enormous library and a very very big TV, big enough that she can see and hear it from far away, so she can see on top of a shelf while the humans watch TV and still avoid notice. Although she refuses to tell anyone how, she understands and can read and write quite a few human languages. She loves stories and when the family is away she usually sneaks into the library and reads a good book. And since the house is so large and has a large garden, she sets up many traps and webs around the house and garden and has a descent food supply.
There was a boy who lived in the house named Roger. Although she knew she shouldn't, she was very curious about roger because he didn't spend much time with the other humans, was very quiet, and spent the most time in the library but most of all because he was an artist, and Anya was very curious about the things he would draw. One day when she checking on a web in his room, her curiosity got the better of her and she accidentally let herself be discovered by him. Although she was very frightened at first (For being seen by a human is the worst situation imaginable for her species), he managed to gain a little bit of her trust and the two are somewhat like friends, although she is still very wary of him and is always prepared to leave if things get out of hand. Maybe I'll talk a little more about their relationship at a later date.
Made out of polymer clay, different types of yarn, and acrylic paint
By the way, what do you think of her? Is she creepy, cute or both?
